Norristown Farm Park, 2012
Greener Partners is growing. We're now engaged in community
discussions and work on soil improvements in preparation for opening a small
community farm in Norristown, PA, 30 minutes northwest of Philadelphia. Greener
Partners' six-acre farm is situated on a 690-acre state park called the
Norristown Farm Park, which has been actively farmed since colonial times. The
farm is surrounded by an ethnically diverse community that has a population of more
than 65,000 people.
Future plans include a community garden, CSA pickup site and facilities for educational programming.
