Mr. Ingle co-founded Greener Partners to compel potential partner organizations to take underutilized land holdings and put it into sustainable agriculture using organic growing methods for the benefit of surrounding communities. Core components of this initiative are the education and community outreach programs. Mr. Ingle was raised on an organic, diverse family farm and has always been driven to communicate to others the benefits of this way of life. Prior to co-founding Greener Partners, Mr. Ingle has spent much of his career in the finance industry. Mr. Ingle currently serves on the Board of the Tyler Arboretum in Media, PA, Heron Hill Winery located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, and Brush Street Capital based in Detroit, MI.
Amy Johnson, Director of Farm Operations

Ms. Johnson launched the Red Hill CSA at the Sisters of St. Francis in Aston, PA in 2000. Since then she has grown it to a 150 member CSA with a waiting list of more than 80 families. Ms. Johnson has trained more than a dozen apprentices under her with the SAITA program during this time period. She, and her husband, Chris Mc Nichol, were also the subjects of Rich Hoffman’s film about sustainable agriculture called “Fridays at the Farm”. Amy is our Director of Farming Operations and is currently responsible for assisting in building the Growing Greener program initiatives.
Meg MacCurtin, Education Director

Ms. MacCurtin has over ten years of classroom experience as an art educator. She also has a long-standing passion for local, organic food, having joined Portland, Oregon’s first ever Community Supported Farm (CSA) when it began in 1994. As the Education Coordinator for Greener Partners, Ms.MacCurtin is able to combine her career-long work with youth, her passion for the farm-to-table experience and her love of the outdoors. She is focused on giving youth hands-on experiences with the food that grows in their schoolyards and on our local farms, and she believes that these experiences are key to both our youth’s well-being and the health of our planet.
